TW: Sexual Assault & Violence

Of violent lineage is the first book of The vigliano underworld series. Bree Porter decided to crush us, I'm warning you Giovani is not Kon or Alessandro. Giovanni Vigliano became one of new york city's mob bosses by destroying The Lombardie and marrying Isabella Lonbardie.

With this First book, Bree Porter introduces us to her new mob boss . You might know his brother from the last book of the Roccheti. The lombardi name was also in the roccheti books we got a glimpse of them in this book and I will not lie to you Isabella would have been a better Mob Boss than her father brother and uncles (PS: I appreciate her uncle Angelo a little bit).

I began this book frustrated and I turned the last page feeling this same emotion

What I like about Bree's book are the characters, Isabella is not like Sophia or Elena. They were all in a relationship or situation they didn't want, but these girls who were shield by their conservative family became women by themselves and became powerful women. Isabella already was a woman hiding a little girl in her heart, I felt so close to her because of my love for Art and Museum. She was on a mission but she wanted things she didn't know she wanted, I also adore how fierce she was her uncles was hiding and fearing Giovani but she wasn't fully afraid of him or to speak her mind. in the other and Giovani prefer her to act like herself moreover I didn't need to present a ruthless man when I read about one and Gio do not play, do not look at his woman even if he doesn't know he is a jealous man because you will disappear.

Their relationship escalates in each chapter but I think even if there is sexual tension between Gio and Izzy, there is a scene that will change everything between them, but isabella downfall is so close to this scene, so i advise you to love it an hundred percent because Bree will shoot you in the heart right after.

The only thing I did not appreciate about the book was the ending I know... Bree did it to light a fire but it's so frustrating. I recommend it to anyone who is Mafia Romance Hungry like myself.

To finish on a good note I'm cheering and congratulate Bree, you will always think about her when someone will ask for a mafia romance, she is building her series and I'm here for it.

Tropes: mafia romance, age gap, arranged marriage, single dad
