I'm totally kicking myself for putting this off for as long as I have but I'm so glad that I've read it now (thanks to my buddy read with the awesome Leslie!) cos it has definitely lived up to the hype and I'm sad that it wasn't longer! Thankfully we get a whole series with Murderbot and I can't wait to read more about where their "adventures" take them and I'm hoping we get to explore more of this world, too!4.5 stars rounded up.
First of all, I have to say I freaking love Murderbot! I want to be their friend even though they'd probably hate me because I'm a (weird and awkward) human that would probably want to spend more time talking to them instead of leaving them alone? I honestly wasn't sure what to expect going into this book other than people telling me I would most definitely love Murderbot--they obviously weren't wrong--but I wasn't expecting all the humour! It's dry and sarcastic and absolutely my favourite kind
