I guess I have a morbid sense of humor because I really enjoyed this book about serial killers falling in love! I really liked these characters and how they were totally normal (except for how they liked to kill serial killers for fun). It was refreshing to read about flawed people who were still likable and whose big issues were almost understandable (even though I don’t think I would ever kill someone). A lot of the serial killer aspect of this book is gruesome so be warned. I also liked how their relationship evolved overtime and their chemistry. I read this book so quickly because I just couldn’t put it down and had so much fun with it. The only things I didn’t like were the excessive language, the cringey terms used during spicy scenes, and I also found that this book was a bit too spicy for me. It went into a lot of things I don’t typically like in my romance (dom-sub, kinky stuff, etc.) so that just wasn’t for me. I appreciated that the characters utilized safe words but their interactions sometimes made me uncomfortable personally. The twist in the end was one I saw coming just before it happened which was fun, but I also hated how Rowan handled that confrontation at the end. I’m looking forward to the next book!
