Knot Your Damn Omega by Devyn Sinclair

Did not finish book. Stopped at 38%.
the writing is jarring, it's really not for me. editing could be better, imo. the writing seems like the author cut out bits but didn't rework the sentences/scenes around them to make them flow.
it also feels like the author keeps telling that this is an omegaverse story rather than writing it to be one. the writing over explains in places I feel it shouldn't need to and is lacking important information for character building.
at 200+ pages into the book I don't feel a connection to the characters at all. I find the fmc's insecurities kind of annoying at this point, along with how everyone is handling them. she doesn't seem to have addressed them outside of acknowledging they exist and the reassurances given thus far have been mid at best. they wouldn't alleviate any insecurities for anyone, in my opinion, especially how they're presented.
I honestly couldn't give you their description, ages, passions, or differentiate any of the male mcs from one another if asked. at nearly 40% of the book I feel like we should have the all the mcs fleshed out and have the story progressing toward the conflict/resolution/hea.
also, after reading some threads on what twins are tired of seeing about twins portrayed in media, the incessant insecurities shown by the fmc about being a twin is tiresome.
