The Best of Me
by David Sedaris
I dunno what I’m supposed to say other than I’ll read gluttonously whatever David Sedaris writes. This one is full of stories of his family, when young and old. Some short stories in the mix that are easy to mull on too.
He’s master at making the human experience relatable. It’s funny, awkward, a little dark but yeah….I’m never not going to recommend David Sedaris.
It’s funny though, I’m not sure if it’s because I went to see him speak and he read some stories out of this book but I read a lot of this in his voice in my head.
Give it a read!
