“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world."

It was delightful to revisit this world and these characters. I listened to the audio narrated by Rob Inglis and really enjoyed how he brought everything to life.

Tolkien's writing is beautiful, his world fascinating, and his characters fun. Will definitely revisit this in the future.
