I found this book to be hi-larious. I would love to read it to maybe a 2nd-3rd-4th grade class. It definitely didn't work at Fourth Friday, where the crowd was too young and large. They didn't appreciate the long text and my explanations of the in-picture jokes ("look! They're staring at the wall! Look! They see a circus!"). Plus, little kids don't understand why watching paint dry or using the color beige is funny.
