The Dark Hours by Michael Connelly

4.0

This was the first Michael Connelly book I've read - well listened to as it was an audiobook via audible.

This was the first book I've read where the events of the pandemic and 2020 as a whole (Masks, Trump, the storming of the senate and George Floyd) are so prevalent. It is interesting to see if feed through to books and have it woven so seamlessly into the narrative.

The real life detail in this book makes it seem so real and draws you in very easily. The storyline doesn't let up at all making it a quick read.

I will be seeking out other Michael Connelly books in the future.
