Commander in Chief by Katy Evans

Reviewing as KinkyGirlsBookObsessions.

I have been (not so) patiently waiting for Commander in Chief since Mr. President ended on a cliffhanger! Only for Katy Evans would I read a cliffhanger!

It starts off with Matthew seamlessly transitioning into his job as Commander in Chief. Which isn't hard for him to do. He exudes power, confidence, compassion so naturally already, he was born for this job.

I love that once he makes his mind up then that's it. He FINALLY realizes that he can't go on without Charlotte by his side and does everything he can to make sure he knows just how much he loves and needs her.

Watching their relationship grow and blossom now that they're finally out in the open was beautiful. Reading Katy's words you could actually feel the love they share for each other. The chemistry between them is off the charts and I found myself fanning my face more than once!

Again this book was a welcome break from our own countries political situations. A little breath of fresh air that was so needed. I mean where is the real Matthew Hamilton?! Can he please stand up because I absolutely want that man to be my Commander in Chief!

This was my first read of 2017 and I couldn't have chosen a better one to start with! I am looking forward to the next book and having some fresh faces added into the mix!
