Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, Amy Mandelker

Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.
The translation was awful. The famous opening line, which typically reads to the effect of "all happy families are alike. Every unhappy family is unhappy in its own unique way." Instead it omitted the word happy and made no sense. I felt the risk of there being other mistranslations resulting in a total loss of meaning was too great.
