Did not finish book. Stopped at 68%.
I was given an audio ARC by the author to review, and while I am incredibly appreciative of that, I’ve found that the story unfortunately isn’t one for me.
It’s written well, the characters are fine, but I’m not feeling drawn to continue and I don’t find myself really invested in what’s going on.
I’m also not a fan of third person stories, but that’s just a personal preference and nothing against the author.
The book has been very well received overall from what I gather, so while I don’t seem to be the intended audience, it may be great for another reader. Again, there’s nothing inherently WRONG with it, but I just don’t really care enough t continue.
