I adored Carter and Olivia! Carter’s honesty about his feelings even when he isn’t completely sure and he’s working through them. How they are worked through the hard conversations throughout the story. They sidestepped (most) of the miscommunication trope and I loved that too! 
This book had me yelling, crying, shouting for joy and gave me goosebumps - All. The. Feels.
