Rose Harbor in Bloom
by Debbie Macomber
This is the 2nd book in the Rose Harbor series. The owner opened a bed & breakfast when her husband disappeared during a military mission and was presumed dead. In each book new people come to the inn, with their own set of problems and leave with their problems gone, or at least made manageable. This book introduced a woman who had just broken off her engagement, and she was there to throw a anniversary party for her grandparents. She soon realized that the marriage that she had always idealized as the perfect relationship was in fact, far from perfect. Another character came to reconcile the past as she faced a very uncertain future. The characters seem so real you feel as if you know them, and as the book develops you are rooting along with them. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story.
