When Fall Breaks by Tracy Justice, Julie Solano

5.0

Unexpected. Surprising. Characters could be in any generation.

If I had to put my review in three sentences, those above would be it. I'm not shy to advertise that I am not a huge YA/NA fan. In any genre. I've reached a certain age where the angst and drama that the younger generation portray is just not for me.

THIS WAS NOT THIS BOOK.

Twins, Kaitlyn and Caden, along with their best friends, Jenna and Brody are high school seniors going through the routine of their last year. The reader learns how deep seeded attachment of the members of the group formed through flashbacks in the character's point of view. Also there is the daily interaction of such close knit group. Feelings start to change; Just as we all do as we grow. Unfortunately, not everyone finds change welcoming. That's where I stop. I feel if I give any more of the details of the story - it'll just be spoilers.

So, go one-click this book. Yep, I don't care what age you are, you can relate to this wonderfully woven story. As a courtesy I'll let you know. It ends in a cliffhanger. A very BIG one!! The series will go through the seasons as the authors will unweave the details as Fall turns to Winter.
