Notes on Grief by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

emotional

5.0

this was so hard to read because it hit too close to home. the essence of grief that is shown here perfectly encapsulates my own grief that i've been dealing with since my father's death last april 2022, and my aunt's death last april. this book made me feel seen and made me realize that i may have unconsciously made myself grieve alone and that in itself is my way of grieving.
