What a book. Witty, real, inspiring, downright hilarious, amazingly written. I loved the movie and I really really loved the book. I think anyone who liked the movie would like the book to some extent, even if they're not a big reader. It's wonderfully written and I couldn't put it down. Plus, I appreciate that Andy Weir followed through on the "science" part of science fiction.
Graphic: Confinement, Fire/Fire injury, Excrement, Cursing, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Cannibalism, Blood, and Vomit
Mark Watney is stuck in space. He's alone, afraid, and is fighting for his life. He's been abandoned by his crew who thought he was dead, and he's having to stay alive on Mars all alone. There's a lot that entails, so be warned.
