This book had a super interesting concept, and I have to admit that I was very hooked at the start.
The course of the book tells a very deep and meaningful message that I feel may very well resonate with quite a lot of people.
It does include some very sensitive subjects such as religious extremism, homophobia, cults and mental abuse, so please take caution when reading this book if you’re sensitive to those types of things.
The book did feel a little slow in places, and there were times that I would have preferred a quick paced atmosphere.
There was some pretty creepy descriptions in there, but not too much that it’s uncomfortable.
This was an interesting read, and a type of story that I haven’t really experienced before. Please let me know if you have any other recommendations for similar books!
