I truly enjoyed reading this novella on Dawson and Bethany's relationship which took place before Obsidian. It helped show what had happened between the two. I truly really liked Dawson's character a lot. I kind of wish it was longer since it was such a sweet relationship between the two. Oh gosh Dawson was like the sweet, caring and less intense version of Daemon. I also really liked Bethany as she was just so sweet and kind. I feel like they may make a reappearance further alone the series as their relationship seems to play a role in the plot. If you've read this and Obsidian you may know what I'm trying to say, Ireally liked this book and can't wait to continue reading on with the next installment Onyx.
