I love this story so much. Was a huge fan of it when the Greta Gerwig version of it came out and finally got to read the original. It’s a beautiful story. And a cozy read which I’m sure I will read again. Do I wish it ended differently in some ways.. of course. But I respect the time it was written in and the constraints the author must have had to abide by to get it published. It is still one of my favorite stories.
