Seven of Hearts
by Maggie Gates
Maggie Gates does it AGAIN!
I was beyond excited to finally get Logan’s story after reading In Spades, and let me tell you—he did not disappoint. Logan Solomon is all grown up, and oh man, he is the perfect book boyfriend. I love an accidental pregnancy trope, and Seven of Hearts delivered it in the best way possible.
Logan’s journey was raw, emotional, and full of heart. His struggle with perfection, trying to outrun his past, and then being thrown into a life-altering situation with his sister’s best friend? Chef’s kiss. The chemistry was undeniable, the angst was just right, and the emotional depth had me feeling everything.
Maggie Gates has this incredible way of making you fall in love with her characters, and Logan was no exception. His growth, his vulnerability, and the way he stepped up? So good. The romance was steamy, heartfelt, and filled with all the tension and longing I crave in a good love story.
If you love small town romance, brother’s best friend (but with a twist!), and an unexpected but beautifully executed accidental pregnancy trope—this book is it. Highly recommend!
