The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris
5.0

A story about a Lale, a Jew surviving the horrors of Auschwitz by becoming a tattooist. He is kind and helps others. The story talks about his survival and the connections he forms.

What I liked about the book:
- So meaningful and an important story to tell
- Well written
- Very descriptive and I felt privileged to hear Lale's story
- I really enjoyed the authors note at the end - added alot to the story

What I didn't like:
- Would have liked a little more background information to Lale growing up and his family relationships.
