THIS IS THE BEST NON-FICTION BOOK I'VE EVER READ! This book should be in the school curriculum just like nutrition, exercise, and sex education because sleep is *that* important!!
It took me 7 months to finish this book and process all the information (this book is just so full of useful facts and research results) and god knows how many times I've fallen asleep reading this book (it's a useful sleeping medication).

Before this book, I've always treated my body as 'special' and thought if I sleep less, for just 4-6 hours each night, I could have a higher sleep quality and use the time awake for more productive things. I also had a negative and counterproductive attitude toward sleep. But then I realized that I can't function without a proper amount of sleep, so I sleep 7-9 hours whenever I wanted to sleep, without any routines whatsoever.
After finishing this book, I just realized how much important an 8-hour sleep is. It helps our mind (creativity, processing information, cognitive ability), our emotional capabilities, and our physical health.

I want to achieve and do so much in life, and this book shows me that sleeping like average people (at least 7 hours every day) is the way to have an excellent memory, a better career, and a healthy & long life.

PS. there's a full Why We Sleep audiobook on Spotify under the Story Time Podcast, narrated by Steve West. The audiobook definitely helps me finish this book and my reading pace.
edit 31/05/2021: I can no longer find the audiobook. Curious about the sleep chronotypes as this book didn't mention it.
