The Problem with Dating by Brittainy C. Cherry

lighthearted medium-paced

5.0

I love a sweet contemporary romance. Throw in small town, grumpy/sunshine and fake dating along with some healing, life and family and I'm all here for it! Alex had a heartbreak that he was still healing from. Yara just got out of a crappy marriage and wasn't looking for love. But things have a funny way of working especially when it comes to love. I loved that these two had such a heartbreaking yet heartwarming dynamic and that they had to take a minute to realize what was really going on between them. It was a blast watching them slowly fall for each other, be there for each other and realize that they have both healed and are ready to move on from their pasts. I really loved the small town vibes and that this is set in the fall so you get all the fall things which is perfect for this time of year. I loved that Alex was left a dog that he didn't even want let alone could stand (the dog didn't like him either) and even they went from enemies to lovers all thanks to Yara! This was just too cute and definitely recommend!
