I’m not entirely sure what to say about this.
Shelly and Lee have been best friends for forever. Their families go on holiday together and they spend all their time together. Everyone around them seems to think they’ll end up together. Instead, Shelly admits to still crushing on Lee’s big brother - bad boy Noah - and now she’s nearly seventeen he appears to be noticing her.
The story opens with the set-up of some school fair where their great plan is to man a kissing booth. Everyone wants Noah to feature…so when he does appear and ends up kissing Shelly, things start to shift.
From start to finish this was the kind of book that had me infuriated. People acted really bizarrely. There was far too much stereotyping and the whole bad-boy thing seemed rather unlikely.
Long story short. They end up together. She changes him. Then he heads off to college. So pleased that’s over!
