Just finished "A Mother's Reckoning" by Sue Klebold, mother of Dylan Klebold, one of the Columbine shooters. So much to say about this book, tough to know where to start. It was a fascinating, yet very upsetting, read ... especially for anyone who has had a child struggle with anxiety, depression or bullying. Makes you realize that there is too much stigma to mental illness and far too little help. And don't even get me started on the issue of gun control! It is also scary because we would all like to "think" we know our children so well, but teens are adept at hiding things they don't want us to see. I give this author a lot of credit for coming forward with such a raw, emotional & personal book. You've got to give her tons of credit for putting it all out there in the hopes that other people will learn from what she missed.
