I'm writing this with tears in my eyes. This book really got to me. I wasn't expecting anything less from Tylor Jenkins Reid but I'm still beyond happy that she's once again exceeded my expectations. This woman can write! And although space terrifies me (ask my friends) the way it was portrayed in "Atmosphere" made it a little exciting even for me.
I fell in love with Joan immediately. She was a great protagonist. Additionally, I enjoyed all the complex relationships between many of the characters immensely. There were layers to them and even if it was sometimes hard to relate, it was easy to understand why they acted the way they did. And that final chapter MY GOD. That really got to me.
All in all, I would highly recommend "Atmosphere" (and any of Taylor Jenkins Reid's books if we're being honest) to anyone.
