Parts of this were INCREDIBLE but other parts were like awful.

I will say based on the summary I thought this would just be a hot and fun professor x student trope book that was more sex than plot but it’s actually more plot than sex so a warning I guess?

There’s some beautiful quotes on love, human nature, getting out of your comfort zone, grieving, eating disorders, being a woman in STEM, and more that really struck a chord with me and sometimes really made me sit back and think.

However, sometimes it just was super cringy and I didn’t love Sawyer. He acted really immature sometimes and I didn’t like how he overacted anytime Olivia wanted to talk about a subject he didn’t want to talk about-he would then turn it on her and blow up. I don’t know, he had his moments where I liked him and then others where I didn’t.

I definitely will be continuing with the series one day though there’s still so many unanswered questions and the cliffhanger was really good. So, I want to know what happens next!

The audiobook is really well done and only 5 hours on 1X (apparently every book in this series is roughly that amount of hours) so it’s pretty quick!
