I devoured this book, was so addicting when I picked it up
DO READ THE CONTENT WARNINGS! This is a dark book and I didn’t read the warnings well enough myself and was caught off guard by some things
The type of vampires in this (Vipera) are more similar to snakes but honestly such a nice breath of fresh air. With how their fangs are thought out and hidden and the clicking sounds, my horror loving self just absolutely loved it!
Both the main characters are a bit mad, with the FMC being a poisoner and very stubborn and the MMC being a creature as it was so correctly put in the book. Honestly wasn’t sure where this book was going based on the cat and mouse game in the beginning
The ending of this has me absolutely reeling and (im)patiently awaiting the next book to come out in this planned trilogy!!!
