Home to Harmony by Philip Gulley
3.0

This book was character-centered, in other words it lacked plot. Sam Gardner left Harmony to go to Seminary, took a post at a church in Ohio and left after twelve years for health reasons. "The congregation was sick of him, and he was sick of the congregation." He returned to his hometown and became the pastor of the Quaker church. The book is made up of stories about the people of his hometown, current stories and fond memories.
