Three Act Tragedy by Agatha Christie
3.0

3.5 stars.

This one was interesting and weird. We follow a couple of characters as they do the bulk of investigating these series of murders, with Poirot only really coming into the story in the last 100 pages. I like the little snippets of backstory we get of Poirot in this book- the fact that he grew up poor and came from a big family, as well as the bit at the end when he explains that he'll selectively choose when to speak good or broken English to put off the people he's questioning. The reveal was also a good one! So even though this book was a bit unconventional in the Poirot series, I still liked it.
