An important book with a great, important message. It's always refreshing seeing /and reading/ books with this kind of representation. As Kacen explains on their author's note, stories like this and characters like Felix have to have a place on the media, because they exist, they matter and they help people find answers. I'm glad that new generations get to grow up with books like Felix Ever After.

I really liked the story, the writing, the characterization and settings. There was also so much character development!!!!! That always makes me excited and happy. It's also a super fast read and the pace is super consistent. The one thing I didn't like were the main tropes and all the underage drinking / smoking. Other than that: great book.
