It's been a while since I listened to the other series from the same world, Ghostly Guardians, so it took a while to piece together all the details and the characters mentioned. But once everything had clicked into place again it was as if I never had left that world.

As Louisa Master's other series, this one is just as sweet and the banter and inner monologues are hilarious. The MMCs are both likable and easy to root for. We also get to meet some characters from the above mentioned other series - I love details like that.

It did start a little slow. There was one moment in the beginning where I started to worry that they would stay in Marc's apartment for half the book. They did not, phew. I did enjoy the other series and this one starts off just as good.
