This series is brilliant. Cleverly written, great characters, emotional depth, masterfully done strategy and tense power plays.
I did struggle at time with the world specific language references and the many characters, it is alot sometimes to remember everyone and their back stories as well as make assumptions on what certain terms mean.
There are absolute moments of brilliance in this book and Pierce Brown has done very well to keep this mid-point in the original trilogy moving and character growth for all involved.
I lovedseeing Darrows growing understanding of faith and belief in humanity regardless of your colour and his mission turning more emotional and hopeful.
