The last thing I thought this book was going to do to me was make me sob on a fine Sunday afternoon, just minding my business, intending to read a bit before I napped. Instead, my nose was congested and my eyes were irritated, and hours had passed since I traversed outside of my bed. This hit harder to home than I thought, and was still very, very beautiful.
