The Reapers Are the Angels
by Alden Bell
1.5 Stars
I hate to give books 1 star unless I can't even bring myself to keep reading but this book almost reached that level for me. Even if I overlook the improbabilities (and there are many) of how society functions many years into a zombie outbreak, I have so many questions about plot points that went nowhere.
The narration bled from a succinct descriptions of what was happening/what had already happened into an attempt to wax poetic about life, God, and the universe.
I kept waiting for the characters to develop further, especially Temple/Sarah Mary Williams, but that didn't happen. The ending seemed like a strange cop-out. =\
