This was going to be a 4-5 star read for the unique, oddly relatable premise. The last 15 ish pages were horrible and ruined it.
Literal rape brushed off as charming meet cute admission of feelings. Like all Pradeep had to do was say “slackbot Gerald flirted with me as you. Haha funny, but also I kinda do like you. How funny.” and then Gerald in the computer could respond with “oh damn. That’s convenient bc I’m bi and like you too”. But instead, Pradeep has sex with the possessed body of Gerald and then real Gerald is fine with it and the rape is what starts their relationship. Gross.
