I needed a refresher from the basic romance books I had been snagging.
I was completely hooked by the prologue. Nicole is such a likable and relatable character. I was rooting her on to make positive changes in her life and healing from her trauma while I was also intrigued to find out who assaulted her. It kept me guessing and I had hoped it would not be who it was. LOVED this book. Powerful and so emotional. Must read!!
