King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table by Roger Lancelyn Green

4.0

Roger Lancelyn Green renders in simplified but poetic style most of the major legends of King Arthur and his many Knights. Beautifully poetic and full of adventure and daring-do. What lifts the book up though is the finale; an existential darkness weighs on the narrative as Sir Mordred begins his plots that leads to the fall of Arthur’s kingdom. Much beauty to be had here.
