What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding: A Memoir
by Kristin Newman
If you don't want to have the sudden urge to jump on a plane, don't read this. If you don't want to go to Argentina and meet cute guys, don't read this. If you don't want to be lost and then found again, don't read this.
This book was given to me as a gift, but I'm not sure my friend could understand the gift it has really given me. It's made me realize to take the time to meet the people where I travel to, see the experiences I should see and do the things (or people) I want to do. Hilarious and very slap-in-the-face, Kristen knows how to take you through every thought every single girl thinks and put them into words. I really appreciated how she was straight-forward and honest with the fact this is how people are...well some people. And that shit happens and you keep going and that running to a place to escape problems may create problems in itself BUT gives great experiences that help shape your life for when you're ready to live.
100% recommend this book to people who like to laugh, read about sexy bits, are travel bugs and enjoy a story that makes you feel like you're going to be okay.
