Cade Bausiney is the future Earl of Dumnos, but at present he just wants to bolster the local economy with a scheme to increase tourism. When Cade and Lilith meet, they're overwhelmed with longing for each other - but their desire might be magically induced. Long ago a witch's spell ended in disaster that left two souls to haunt Dumnos to this day. Review:
I really wanted to enjoy this book as the description really apealed. Lilith and Cade are likeable characters, but there was so much switching between this couple and Diantha and Galen that I got really confused. The magical fairyland of Dumnos worked better, but I found the intricacies all too much. I think this story would work better over two books, with the back story of Galen and Diantha, Elyse, Idris, Lourdes, Igdrasil and Aubrey being the first.
