Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body by Neil Shubin

challenging informative slow-paced

3.5

This is yet another reason why I love being in a book club. I get to pick up books I probably would never have even considered reading because of the suggestion of a friend.
This book and topic are so interesting to me. It was really cool to learn about the ways all life on earth is connected.
The narration felt rather circuitous at times, and I am definitely not a scientist so following the concepts was a little tricky. But I think overall this book is very approachable for the average reader.
