there are truly no words to describe how magical this book is. It is so lyrically written, each page could be a poem. I wish to one day experience the love that zafira and Nasir have and the zumra, I am incredibly jealous. I cannot stress enough that this book (and the first) should be read by everyone. Hafsah Faizal created the characters so beautifully.

I did not expect this, but I felt such (empathy, pity) for the villain/lion, which I usually never do.
