so i did enjoy this book even though im not used to books being written in verse. i enjoyed the themes of loss and family and thought it was handled very well. my main problems were the pacing and that the two main characters didnt have distinctive enough voices to really differentiate between them, especially at the end. i understand the hype but it wasnt a standout for me.
