I absolutely loved this book! It’s often that I don’t see things coming, as thrillers with twists are my favorites to read, but I LITERALLY had no clue where this book was heading & I absolutely did not see the conclusion of this story coming. Very easy to love characters & kept my attention from start to finish. It had some emotional moments as well, as it touched on terminal illness & family dynamics.

The dual timelines were very easy to follow and gave a lot of backstory that was much needed to bring everything together. I listened to the audiobook in 1 day and could listen to it a second time. January Lavoy did an amazing job on the narration! Overall highly highly recommended read and Marshall Karp has a new fan!

Oh and everyone needs a best friend like Donnie!
