I love Bonam-Young's writing. She creates these characters who are so real and flawed but so loveable. I appreciate that she gives the characters time for their love and growth but she keeps the text moving. The time jumps keep me wanting more but I don't feel like I miss anything.
Matt and Lane are so cute together! I love their love, care, and commitment for each other. I love the representation of finding a healthy way to balance being a person who needs a bit more care with a person who gives all of themselves and both finding ways to best care for each other as partners.
I love the example of healthy communication in the midst of angst.
Just really well written and lovely characters. I will be waiting for the next book in the series!
