there were moments in this book that I enjoyed, but the first 60% of the book had me so frustrated. In what world would someone allow the person who lied to them, kept their their child from them, just move into their home when they didn't have to? Nye had 6 figures in the bank and sold her home. Why couldn't she get a month to month renting agreement or, at the very least get corporate housing?
Also, her sleeping in his bedroom and self pleasuring in his bed room when he went out of town was BEYOND the pale. You haven't seen this man in 2 decades, you have a whole situationship, the man let you stay in his house and you couldn't respect his space? That bothered me.
Trent, who is one of LB's characters that I genuinely love, got on my last nerve in this book. I also felt that the ending of this was a bit rushed. I did enjoy it though.
