2.5 stars - loved the premise of this one since I always appreciate a good campus mystery. This one teemed with stories ripped straight from the headlines from fraternity hazings to white male privilege; however, it was poorly executed. The main character was a painfully poor detective with a ton of unresolved trauma that consistently interfered with her investigative work. Partway through, something over-the-top absurd happens, which doesn't really help the plot or pacing, and the conclusion ends with a whimper, loose ends, and minimal justice served.
