Merik and Safi are separated and in some twist,we find out Merik is dead but not exactly cleaved.I love the suspense,and the storyline.I hope that a cure can be found for merik or that iseult can reverse what the puppeteer is doing.I wonder if the emperor of cartorra knows about the cleaved soldiers,or the puppeteer stuff.but loved the book
