Writing a review for this book is so difficult, especially, without giving away any spoilers... but gosh! this book is PERFECTION!!

I'll try my best not to give away any major plot points but it may contain minor spoilers for this book as well as other books in the cosmere!

The Plot is astounding, I didn't know how after three magnificent books, it could have got better but honestly, it does. I think this book might be my second favorite in the series so far after [b:The Way of Kings|7235533|The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, #1)|Brandon Sanderson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388184640l/7235533._SY75_.jpg|8134945]. The writing as always is so accessible, I flew through this book, its a 1200+ pages of tome but I wasn't bored for one moment. The world-building is so-so good especially, because there are so many things that happens in the book that are going to have a much bigger implication to the wider cosmere.. Ahem! ahem! Tarvengian!!

The characters are precious, I love them so much. This book had such fantastic character development for both existing and new set of characters. We get to see and know so much more about the Fused and the Listeners, their culture and an insight into how they perceive the existing conflict. It was great! I didn't knew I wanted more Parshendi/fused arcs in my life but now I truly do because they are as much victim to the circumstances and the conflict between gods as the humans and they truly deserve peace after centuries of sufferings.

This book had Venli and Eshonai flashback scenes and I really enjoyed reading them. Even though, a lot of information had already been revealed about these two characters in WOR, this fresh perspective still managed to keep me interested in their story. I loved the wide-eyed optimistic Eshonai and honestly, her parts made me really sad, especially because of how her arc ended, it was so heartbreaking and also so satisfying in many sense. I don't really like Venli and she didn't grew much on me in this book but her POV were definitely interesting, and I was glad that she somewhat redeemed herself.

This was also so much of Navani and Kaladin's book. Navani character development is absolutely stunning in this book, I am truly speechless. Since the beginning of the book, we get to see her intuitiveness and intelligence, and by the end of this book, she grows into such a powerful character. It was an epic journey of self-discovery and Navani just excelled at every point. And, Kaladin, I mean my dearest boi goes through so much in this book. He truly reaches the lowest of lowest point of depression in this book and at one point I was so scared that he won't be able to pull back. But, gosh! pull back he does and what an awesome moment it was - I think it was my favorite part of the book, I was sobbing mess!

One small complain that I have from this book was that I needed a little more of Adolin and Shallan. I love Adolin, he is my second favorite character from this series and his arc was very interesting in this book. My second favorite part from this book was about him and a certain deadeye and boy! I loved every minute of that scene. The REVELATION OMG! it was so unexpected, all I wanted to do was shout "in your face honorspren" because let's be fair, honorspren were so frustrating.

Shallan's arc in this book was as confounding as I have come to expect from her story-line, the highlight definitely being the revelation about the ghostblood leader was again so unexpected but also completely mind-blowing. However, I really thought aspects of Adolin and Shallan's relationship felt rushed. I sort of needed them to have more discussions about their relationship, especially once Shallan's comes clean to Adolin about her past, I would have loved to see Adolin dealing with that stuff, instead of just accepting everything as it is.

On other note:
Spoiler

~ Please some one kill Moash already!!
~ Raboniel was awesome!! The pursuer was the worst!!
~ Rlain is the best! also what's up with Renarin? I have a theory that his Spren is a mix of honor and void Spren.
~ Lirin frustrated me to no end.
~ Jasnah was her usual badass self, although, I don't like the idea of her and Wit together.
~ Loved Dalinar and Tarvengian clash of ideologies. Also, Tarvengian story just make me sad and mad at the same time.
~ What is Sja-anat playing at?
~ Will the next book be Szeth's book?
~ I can't believe the contests between champions happens in the next 10 days!!
~ WTF Ishar!!

Overall, this book was everything I imagined it would be. This was truly the penultimate book in every sense and sets up the final book of the first set of Stormlight Archive brilliantly. The stakes are higher than ever and I have no idea how I am going to wait for the next book!!
