A Not So Meet Cute by Meghan Quinn

5.0

I am going to be completely honest. When I started reading, I found it slow and I thought it'd end up being a 3/3.5 star read.
Little did I know, Huxley would come in, and swoop my heart away.

I'd still give this one a 4.5 cause I guess it was a bit slow in the beginning... And although I loved the writing... It could definitely improve.

Also, I have never watched the movie Pretty Woman, which this book is kind of set around I guess?

So all my thoughts are completely, and only based off of the book.

This is the first book I have read from this author... And I'm looking forward to reading more from them.

Tropes :
Enemies to lovers (kinda?)
Fake dating
Slow burn

*Some things that I loved about this book in particular* :

1) Our alpha hero - Huxley turned into the biggest mush after falling in love with Lottie.

2) Lottie is the most sassy and snarky girl I have seen. I'd love to be friends with her. She's witty and so so so good with her words.

3) The amazing banter between the two characters - Huxley and Lottie is just... ahhh.. *chef's kiss*

4) The chemistry between them was on
